Reports and updating on ADUN Kajang

Hi, Fellow Friends!
Sorry for not updating my blog for months.
For the past months, most of the ADUNs were busy picking up "know-how" or the business of the government besides attending to avalanche of complaints from the public. Most of the complaints are aiming at the inefficiencies of the local authorities. These overwhelming calls and emails etc were later handled by the local councillors. Till date, most of the complaints were handled and solved after stern follow-up by our team in the MPKj. Thanks to your info and to the MPKj staff who had shown co-operation in tackling issues raised. However, bad habits die hard. There are some who had not shown initiaive to work with the new system. We will keep their record and we welcome the public to provide feedback on their dealings with the authorities.

To update on my responsibility in the State Government, I am Chairperson of Public Account Committee. The Committee had 3 meetings looking into auditor's report on Privatisation of Orang Asli Relocation Project in Bukit Cahaya, Shah Alam; Public Libraries in Selangor; Marine Resort in Sabak Bernam and Construction of a Link Road From Sekincan to Sabak Bernam. As you had known, all the above mentioned projects were scandalous and traced with abuses of the last regime. We are looking foreward to check the accountability and transparency of the government and its bureucracy.

Locally, the newly appointed local councillors and village headmen are performing excellently. In 1999, I was assisting the then ADUN YB Dr Shafie and had attended a few MPKj full council sessions. I am confident with our new councillors that the will defend the rights and interest of the people in Kajang. Do get in contact with the councillor who is in charge of your residential area and work hand in hand with him/her. You may visit MPKj official web-site: http://www.mpkj.gov.my/ for further information. Do visit a new Kajang web-site: http://www.mykajang.my/ for activities and more discoveries on Kajang. You can find reports on some of the activities run by the ADUN office for the past few months. We look forward to your support and do offer your expertise in reengineering our community. Regards!!!!
